European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) is our annual celebration of local architecture, history and culture. This year the European wide theme for 2023 is “Living Heritage”.
This year EHOD will take place online between 4-10 September, with access to heritage buildings on the weekend of 9-10 September. Over 200 heritage buildings and events are opening this weekend FREE OF CHARGE. A number of these properties are not normally open to the public, so this is a fantastic opportunity to explore.
Please note, some of the in-person events will require pre-booking. Details on how to book for individual events can be found on each listing that requires booking. Where booking is required, entry will not be permitted to any person not pre-booked.
