A discussion of the engineering interventions involved in converting the A-Wing of the Crumlin Road Gaol into a whiskey distillery. The talk involves an overview of the existing structural form as well as repairs to the stone slate walkways, alterations to the cast iron landings, and the sensitive remodelling of the space to facilitate the change of use and secure the building’s future.
