This webinar, delivered by Enda McKenna of McFarland Consulting Ltd, will discuss the methods for accurately inspecting, testing and monitoring our deteriorating structures, why concrete & steel frame structures deteriorate and how to identify the early onset of defects on both reinforced concrete and brick/stone clad steel framed structures. Innovative remediation measures including cathodic protection, and case study examples will also be discussed. Case studies will include The Four Courts Dome, The Shelbourne Hotel Façades, and Castle Cornet Bridge, Guernsey. The talk will last approximately 45mins, with an opportunity to ask questions in a 15min Q&A.
