We Will Thrive have teamed up with Arts & Business NI to deliver the Re:Model project, a series of free learning and discussion sessions for members of the NI Heritage sector, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

They're looking for 15 people who are part of the heritage sector to get involved to make real change to their resilience and impact.

What is Re:Model?

Re:Model is an opportunity: a chance to look at what you do and remember why you started in the first place. In the era of diminishing returns, Re:Model is a chance to build back better.

Re:Model is not your run-of-the mill training programme. It is a mix of workshops where participants will work together in small groups, partake in one-to-one support sessions and attend networking meetings.

The aim of Re:Model is for participants to create their own, practical change plan to take back to their organisation. This change plan will act as a roadmap to guide how they work every day moving forward, to make their organisation more resilient and sustainable.

Some of the questions Re:Model will explore are:

  • Why do you exist and what is it that makes you love what you do?
  • How do you fit into people’s lives and why do they care?
  • How can your resilience be increased? What does resilience mean for our participants?

Who is it for?

Re:Model is for any person working in an organisation with a strong focus on either natural, built, cultural or intangible heritage.

  • It is not just for senior management. We believe that real change comes from any person involved in the organisation.
  • If you want to try and future proof your heritage organisation: it’s for you.
  • If you are ready to try and look at how you work in a new way: it’s for you.
  • If you want to stick to your usual ways of working: it’s probably not for you.
