Co Down museum to undergo restoration project following fears heritage attraction was being ‘downgraded’

The future of Down County Museum has been given a potential tourism boost following fears expressed by a town councillor that the heritage attraction was being “downgraded”.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council (NMDDC) approved the 2023-26 policy at this week’s enterprise, regeneration and tourism committee.
